- Thanks Paul - I think the small-tape experience was a good one for me. The thing that always got me was the varience in the motor speed between sessions: I could never count on being in tune exactly. The 4-track cassette helped me to move on to doing my own music how I wanted to do it.
The down side to digital for me is that all of your mistakes are very clear as well :)

- Hey Paul, I added a few toons I did on my old cassette recorder back in '91 to my page - they sound a little dated now, but that was a while ago. It's interestng to compare those recordings to what is doable on digital recorders today.

- Hey Paul - I noticed that the file I posted ran a little slow. I might have had the encoding wrong - I corrected that and I think the file I just posted will run correctly.
