The Rotovibe

Wow, very cool and rather difficult to master. I've got a long way to go.

Picked up a used Rotovibe off eBay. The pedal acts as a variable phaser *or* a variable tremolo with the treadle (the "wah" part) acting as the speed control of the phasing or the tremolo, and with the side knob controlling the depth.

Always a sucker to get a good eBay rating, I gave a good eBay rating des… Continue

Electric Amp Company

I've decided that while I build my hotrodded plexi-clone, I'm going to be socking away for a Master Volume model Electric Amp. After hearing these Matamp recreations, I'm absolutely drooling at the prospect of getting one.

If you check out Planet of the Amps, apparently the guy running Electric Amps, Joel Wheeler, was the exclusive dealer for Matamp in the USA. You may remember… Continue

I can't believe I bought a Chorus

Heavy Metal and chorus effects are mutually exclusive! :)

Hahaha. I didn't even think to look if the low strings are on the bottom of your bass until you pointed it out! How does one even get lessons on how to play that way? I'm stunned. That's incredible.

I don't know about lessons, I never had any. Most teachers would probably have forced me to change.

I really dig the fact you're playing a P-bass upside down! That's awesome! :D Great youtube video...

Thanks for noticing. Can you tell that the strings are upside down, too?

On Chit Chat, that's actually my old Zoom 9030 with a built from scratch preset thru my 1973 Maestro Boomerang wah pedal. That's what I am using on pretty much all of my tunes with disortion tones. I think it's good for recording, but I would never use it live - that's when I use my DIY pedals.

Hey Zander,

No, I don't actually own that. It showed up on the Parker Forum (US Music owns both brands), and when I read your module list I remembered it and thought it would make a good prank for your Comment Wall. I'm like that...

I always thought the the MTS amps made a LOT of sense. Even though I've known a few people with them, yours is by far the best collection of modules I've heard of. Since you're in that far, why not get the SLO and Orange ones?

You should add some pics of your collection, especially the guitars? And get some tunes up here too!

Cheers,

Larry

I hope to hear some sound clips from you; you've got a serious bit of gear there.
