Soft Machine '74 w/ Alan Holdsworth
Alan Holdsworth on guitar and vocals from 35 years ago! He was a world class guitarist even then. This pretty much cements the fact in my mind that I will not live long enough to play the guitar as well as Alan.

I've seen this video before, it's good. That's the only time I can recall seeing Allan "singing". I've also seen him playing a violin on a different video (I believe it was a Soft Machine thing, too). He had his own sound and tone even back then.
I've also concluded that I will probably never be as good as Allan, either, but I am content being myself. ;-)
